Echeveria

Echeveria

Echeveria spp.

Description

Echeveria is a succulent from the Crassulaceae family. All echeverias grow in a rosette pattern on short stems. The rosette has fleshy leaves of various colors depending on species, hybrid or cultivar. The plant's colors often become enhanced and blushed red in some cases when under stress from extreme temperatures (hot or cold) and availability of water. Indoors provide bright light, especially in winter, near a south or west facing window or under grow lights.
