Hobbit Jade

Hobbit Jade

Crassula ovata 'Hobbit'

Description

Hobbit Jade / Finger Jade - This is a small succulent shrub with unique leaves that fold back and are semi-tubular with a reddish hue. 'Gollum' is another similar jade cultivar but its leaves resemble tubes tipped with suction cup-like ends similar to the J.R.R. Tolkein character Gollum. In late fall and early winter clusters of pinkish-white star-shaped flowers emerge. Ideal for containers. Does best in full sun to bright shade and moderate water. Can also be grown indoors in bright light.
