Donkey Tail / Burro's Tail - Native to Ecuador and southern Mexico, this grows well outside (in frost free areas) or indoors. The species is susceptible to over-watering, especially during winter dormancy. The leaf structure (tail) is fragile and will readily break off the stem when manipulated. The leaves will stay alive for many days and roots will emerge after a few days.
