The Smart Plant and Tree Care App puts plant experts in your pocket and helps your garden thrive. When it comes to using the app for the first time, there are many features that will help you grow the best indoor or outdoor garden, and this blog will help you understand how to use these tools!
When you first open up the app, you will see 5 different key features on the bottom of the screen:
- Home
- My Plants
- Add Plant
- My Care
- Ask Expert
These will help you easily take care of and manage your plants.
1. Home
The homepage provides a lot of useful information. The Identify Problems will help you with issues you may have in your gardens, such as weeds or different types of bugs, and help identify what they are. The best products to fix these problems are also suggested to you within the app itself! The homepage also shows trending plants and products that you can use to create a more beautiful, healthy garden.
2. My Plants
The My Plants tab is where you can keep track of all of your plant babies. You can see what plants you own when you add them and how to take care of them. The care details include lighting, watering needs, soil type, when to plant, planting zones, and pruning needs of every plant.
For example, with this Aloe Vera, you can see its description that it needs to be dry between waterings, well-draining porous soil, and bright indirect light.
3. Add Plants
This tab is essential to get started with adding your plants!! The app gives you many options in this tab to help identify your plants. This tab has unique features, such as taking pictures of plants or pests to have experts identify them and a QR code scan to identify new plants you have recently bought. You can also use the search bar to find your plant in our extensive plant library if you know the species name.
4. My Care
To help organize the care of your garden, the app displays the pending tasks on a calendar with their due dates to help you stay organized. This feature makes it easy to keep a schedule to care for your plants and keep them healthy.
5. Ask Expert
All of the above awesome features are free and included in the app. However, you can upgrade to premium for higher-level customized care, such as the ask expert feature. This feature is one of the most unique features of our app and is extremely useful to help with unusual and specific problems where you cannot find solutions online. This tab allows you to talk directly with an expert in real-time and see their thoughts and opinions on a problem you may have.
